DMCA & Copyright

Last updated: March 6, 2026

vidstations.tv does not host, store, upload, or distribute any video content. All videos played on this site are streamed directly from YouTube via the official YouTube IFrame Player API. We have no ability to remove individual videos from YouTube's servers.

Copyright takedown requests must be sent to YouTube directly.

Because we do not host any video content, DMCA takedown notices sent to vidstations.tv cannot result in the removal of a video. The correct and only effective path is to file your notice with YouTube/Google, who have the legal authority to remove or restrict infringing content.

How to Submit a Copyright Takedown to YouTube

Google/YouTube provides a dedicated web form for submitting DMCA takedown requests. You will need to identify the specific video URL(s) and provide details about the copyrighted work.

Once YouTube processes a valid takedown notice and removes or restricts a video, it will automatically become unplayable on vidstations.tv as well.

Playlist Removal Requests

If you are a rights holder and would like a specific video removed from a vidstations.tv station playlist in addition to filing a YouTube takedown, you may contact us and we will remove it from our playlist data upon receipt of a valid takedown notice number from YouTube.

Contact us at: dmca@vidstations.tv

Please include your YouTube takedown reference number, the video URL, and a brief description of the copyrighted work in question.

Counter-Notification

If you believe your content was removed from YouTube in error, you should submit a counter-notification directly to YouTube following their process:

Repeat Infringers

In accordance with the DMCA, we maintain a policy of terminating accounts of users who are found to be repeat infringers of copyright in our platform features (e.g. station names, chat content, or uploaded artwork).
