Terms of Service

1. Use of the Service

vidstations.tv is an online platform that streams curated music video stations powered by the YouTube IFrame Player API. You may use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure
• Scrape, crawl, or otherwise harvest data from the Service without our written permission
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
• Impersonate another person or entity

2. Accounts

You may browse the Service as a guest. To participate in chat, vote, join the Front Row, or create stations you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.

You may sign in with Apple, Google, Facebook, X, or email and password. You may permanently delete your account from the Profile page (website, Android app, and iOS app) at any time. Account deletion removes your account access and associated user data from the Service, subject to the retention described in our Privacy Policy and to legal and operational retention requirements.

3. YouTube Content

All video content on vidstations.tv is served directly from YouTube's servers via the YouTube IFrame Player API. We do not host, store, or distribute any video content ourselves. By using the Service you also agree to be bound by:

• YouTube's Terms of Service
• Google's Privacy Policy

We have no control over the availability, quality, or content of videos hosted on YouTube. If a video is removed from YouTube it will no longer be playable on vidstations.tv.

4. User-Generated Content

You may submit content through the Service, including chat messages and station names. By submitting content you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, display, and distribute that content in connection with operating the Service. You represent that you have the right to submit such content and that it does not violate any third-party rights.

We reserve the right to remove any content that we determine, in our sole discretion, violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable.

5. Community Guidelines

There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users on VidStations. When using chat and community features you must not post content that is:

• Hateful, discriminatory, threatening, abusive, or harassing
• Sexually explicit or pornographic
• Violent, graphic, or that promotes self-harm
• Spam or unsolicited advertising
• Personally identifiable information of others without their consent
• In violation of any applicable law

Violations may result in removal of content and suspension or permanent termination of your account, without notice.

Reporting and blocking

• Report a chat message or user with the report option on that message, or use our contact form.
• Hide a user's messages from your chat at any time with the hide option on their message.
• Station owners can mute or ban users from their own station.

We review reports and aim to act on them within 24 hours, including removing the content and ejecting the user who provided it.

These Community Guidelines apply to the vidstations.tv website, the VidStations app on Google Play, and the VidStations app on the Apple App Store.

6. Paid Subscriptions

Certain features require a paid subscription. On the website, subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis through Stripe and renew automatically until you cancel. You may cancel at any time from the Billing page (Manage Payment); cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. In the Android app, subscriptions are billed and managed through Google Play. We reserve the right to modify subscription pricing with reasonable advance notice.

Subscriptions cannot be purchased in the iOS app. Apple is not a party to any subscription or payment, and does not process payments for the Service.

7. Virtual currency (Coins)

Coins have no cash value outside of the VidStations.tv ecosystem. Earnings are subject to platform fees and verification. We reserve the right to withhold payouts for stations found in violation of YouTube's Terms of Service or our Community Guidelines.

8. Intellectual Property

The vidstations.tv name, logo, and original site design are owned by us. Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you. All video content remains the property of its respective rights holders and is subject to YouTube's terms.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. Your use of the Service is at your sole risk.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

11. Apple App Store Terms

These additional terms apply if you use the VidStations iOS app downloaded from the Apple App Store.

• These Terms are between you and GREATDECADES LLC only, not Apple Inc. ("Apple"). GREATDECADES LLC, not Apple, is solely responsible for the app and its content.
• We grant you a limited, non-transferable licence to use the app on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in the App Store Terms of Service. Unless we provide a separate end user licence agreement, Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.
• Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app. Please contact us through our contact form for support.
• If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any). To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app. We are responsible for any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses relating to the app.
• We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claims by you or a third party relating to the app or your use of it, including product liability claims, claims that the app fails to meet legal or regulatory requirements, and consumer protection or privacy claims.
• If a third party claims that the app infringes its intellectual property rights, we, not Apple, are responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement, and discharge of the claim.
• You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not on any U.S. government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
• You must comply with applicable third-party terms of agreement when using the app (for example, your wireless data service agreement).
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this section and of these Terms as they apply to the iOS app. Upon your acceptance, Apple has the right to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms and any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to your use of VidStations shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law. You agree that any legal action, suit, or proceeding arising out of or related to these Terms shall be instituted exclusively in the state or federal courts located in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and you irrevocably submit to the personal and exclusive jurisdiction of such courts.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised Terms on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
